What’s crazy is that one day I will love a human baby even more than I love them.

Wow. You should really watch this. Today. Everyone can have an impact.

Wow, I have really been bad about updating this blog. Here is a photo of pretty horseys to make up for it.

Five people and one guitar. I love this cover of Gotye’s “Somebody I Used to Know” better than the original. I love watching the facial expressions of everyone.

New Year’s Eve

I have been meaning to reblog some photos that my talented friend, Ashleigh, captured on New Year’s Eve. Thankful for good friends.

Tigers, sparklers, pulpy margaritas, and great friends. Not a bad way to send off 2011 and begin 2012.

Some pictures were taken by Matt when he absconded with my camera. It’s a pretty image heavy post.

One of my favorite songs of 2011: Bon Iver - Blood Bank (studio version) (by sklyrovka)

I know it’s an older song but I didn’t discovered it until this past year. I love.

Happiness is finding a jacket you wanted earlier in the season for 60% off! It was the last one, was in my size, and I had a gift card! Yay! (Taken with instagram)

2012 - Bring it.

You know what I love about new years? It’s a fresh slate. I always take the end of the year to reflect on what blessings (and cruses) the year has brought. I have a lot to be grateful for. Even with all the curses that 2009 and 2010 brought, without them great things wouldn’t have happened. Without them Matt and I would not be together. It’s true. So, for that I am grateful. God has shown that even out of trials and tribulations, blessings can indeed arrive.

The year 2011 was very good to us. Matt and I got engaged, I moved back to Atlanta into what is now both of our homes, I started a new job, and then in September we got married.

One thing I am excited about doing this year is our 365 project. Starting tonight at midnight, Matt and I will each be posting one photo a day throughout the whole year of 2012. Here is the blog: The Gibsons in 2012. It will be fun to look back on in 2013.

Check back daily for those photos.

I wish you and yours the happiest of new years.
